Condolence donations<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/section>\n

After the death of a loved one, many relatives want to commemorate him or her in a special way \u2013 with an individual gesture that goes beyond farewell and grief. With the deceased in mind, effectively supporting projects for young adults with cancer, and doing good for other people, can be consoling during the painful loss of a loved one. Instead of flowers, you might ask for donations to our foundation.<\/p>\n

If it is the will of the deceased person to support the German Foundation for Young Adults with Cancer in the form of donations, we recommend pointing this out in the obituary notice and\/or the bereavement letter. It is also advisable to inform the funeral home about the donation on behalf of the deceased.<\/p>\n

An example formulation for the obituary notice and\/or the funeral letter would be:<\/strong><\/p>\n

“At the request of the deceased, we kindly ask for a donation to the<\/p>\n

For example, “In Memory of First Name, Last Name of the Deceased<\/em>”<\/p>\n

As a relative, you’ll receive a list of all condolence donors with the total donation amount about four weeks after the memorial service. Insofar as we have the addresses of the individual donors, they will receive their donation receipt from us by post.<\/p>\n

Please inform us if you would like to suggest a condolence donation for the German Foundation for Young Adults with Cancer. With some information, such as the name of the deceased and the date of the memorial service, we can identify the incoming donations and we can help you with the condolence donation.<\/p>\n
